Dear La Madera Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at La Madera Elementary! I know that many of us are anticipating an exciting year of being mostly "back to normal".  I am confident that we will be able to make this a memorable year for our students.

I have been a La Madera parent for the past 11 years and have witnessed so many fun and enriching programs take place at this school.  Through your donation of time and funds, it is the PTA that has made possible programs such as:

  • Art Masters
  • Talent Show
  • Theater in Action
  • School Beautification
  • Science Fair
  • Imagination Machine
  • Astronomy Night
  • Glow Dance

I would also like to introduce you to our Executive Board.  All of them are hard working individuals that are excited to support our school.

Our PTA website has a lot of great information so take a look around.  Most importantly, please make sure you join the PTA so that you can not only support our PTA but also vote on the various programs that we will be planning.

Additionally, whether you have 20 minutes a month to sort supplies, a couple of hours each quarter to take on a small project or a few hours a week to be a chairperson, please let us know how you can helpUltimately, the PTA is only as strong and as great as the parents that are supporting it.

Lastly, now that we are back to school in person, make sure to visit our store to purchase Spirit Wear for our Friday spirit competitions!

Before you leave, don't forget to register for an account on this web-site so that you get all of our emails and newsletters.  You can also follow us on social media on Facebook and on Instagram.

Please let me know if you have any questions by emailing me at president@lamaderapta.org.  I look forward to working with you this year.

Many thanks,

Kristin Spieler
